Adopting a Best Friend

The fellow is Scruffy and it is fitting. He is friendly but shy at first with new people. I like treats and I like to be petted. His previous owner stated he was good with laid back dogs his size and is housebroken. We would prefer a meet and greet to be sure however. We also don't recommend a home with small children, small dogs or cats. He would prefer a quiet home where he can slowly learn the rules and get his bearings. Obedience training would be recommended to help him to bond to his new family and to give him more confidence and socialization.

If you are unable to adopt a pet at this time, please consider sponsoring one of our adoptable pets, being a kennel sponsor, or contributing a portion of their adoption fee as a gift to their new forever family.
You can do all of that with the PayPal option at the left.

Chevy came to us as a feral baby. He is now around 7 months, and is doing fantastic, but is still a little on the shy side. For this reason he would do best in a quiet home. He would benefit from lots of love and attention. If you have some time to spend with Chevy, we believe he will grow into a trusting, affectionate cat.
